Carlos, director de proyectos en una firma de tecnolog\u00eda,<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">miraba fijamente la pantalla de su laptop. El proyecto que \u00abdefinitivamente\u00bb estar\u00eda listo para el viernes ahora necesitaba \u00abdos semanas m\u00e1s\u00bb. Era el tercer proyecto consecutivo que se retrasaba este a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00bfC\u00f3mo terminamos aqu\u00ed otra vez?\u00bb \u2014 Se pregunt\u00f3 mientras rele\u00eda el chat del equipo. Todos hab\u00edan trabajado duro. Nadie era incompetente. Y aun as\u00ed, el proyecto se hab\u00eda descarrilado sin que nadie supiera exactamente cu\u00e1ndo o c\u00f3mo.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tu problema Carlos, es que no te has subido al helic\u00f3ptero\u2026\u00a0 \u2014 Dije en tono burl\u00f3n amigable para que se enganchara en la charla.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este art\u00edculo presenta el \u00abM\u00e9todo del Helic\u00f3ptero\u00bb, un enfoque pr\u00e1ctico y personal\u00a0 para la direcci\u00f3n de proyectos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta propuesta aborda un patron que hemos identificado emp\u00edricamente, para que proyectos se encuentren desaf\u00edos que pueden ser atenuados. \u00c9ste consiste en la p\u00e9rdida de perspectiva estrat\u00e9gica por enfoque excesivo en detalles operativos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Algunos datos de nuestra observaci\u00f3n en campo, derivada de evaluaci\u00f3n de madurez en distintas organizaciones<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una gran cantidad de proyectos no cumplen su fecha de entrega<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gran cantidad de equipos inician sin documentaci\u00f3n clara de objetivos<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los retrasos, en una gran medida de retrasos son prevenibles con revisi\u00f3n semanal estrat\u00e9gica<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Causa principal: P\u00e9rdida de \u00abvisi\u00f3n de helic\u00f3ptero\u00bb (perspectiva macro)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00abGestionar un proyecto sin visi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica es c\u00f3mo construir una casa sin planos arquitect\u00f3nicos\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En qu\u00e9 consiste el enfoque del helic\u00f3ptero, lo sintetizo a continuaci\u00f3n paso a paso:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PASO 1: Define la Meta (T\u00e9cnica del Arquitecto)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lo que quieres en este punto es establecer con claridad absoluta cu\u00e1l es el destino del proyecto<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bfQue herramienta usamos para eso?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El acta del proyecto. Es el documento fundacional del proyecto que sintetiza, con la informaci\u00f3n disponible hasta este punto en el tiempo, de lo que se trata el proyecto. Nos ayuda a identificar, entre otras cosas, la justificaci\u00f3n para iniciar el trabajo y confiere al PM la autoridad para llevar a cabo el proyecto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Componentes esenciales del Acta:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Problema espec\u00edfico que el proyecto resuelve<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Declaraci\u00f3n de alcance<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lo que incluye
